Here at Wood Opticians you’ll find old school customer service and the latest frame and lens technology.  We are eyeglass specialists, our sole focus is creating the best pair of glasses for your wardrobe and your lifestyle.

 

We are certified and experienced, so we can help you select a great frame for your prescription and your lifestyle.  And we can help you decide which lens options you’ll appreciate and which ones are unnecessary for you.

 

We make your eyeglasses on-site, digitally tracing, edging and polishing your lenses. Then by hand, we finish the lenses and glaze them into your frame.  We will custom fit your frames so they feel great and stay in place.  Glasses should not be uncomfortable or unstable!  Stop in at anytime, we are happy to service and adjust your glasses, sometimes at no charge.

 

Wood Opticians has been serving the Kensington area for over 70 years.  We are conveniently located at

the corner of Connecticut and Knowles. We’re about two miles North of the beltway at the Connecticut Avenue exit.  We have free reserved parking, we’re open on Saturdays and late on Mondays and Thursdays.
